Floyd Mayweather Jr. now owes more than $1 million in child support after a Nevada judge ruled he is the legal father of a 4-year-old girl born to a former dancer at his Las Vegas strip club.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, a Nevada judge declared Mayweather the legal father in March 2026. The ruling states, “The court finds that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is the father of Price Moorehead.”

The judge ordered him to pay $32,850 per month in ongoing child support, along with $933,050 in back payments. Taken together, the ruling pushes his immediate financial obligation close to $1 million. The court also approved a $2 million lien on his California properties to secure the payments.

How The Paternity Battle Unfolded

Paige Moorehead, a former dancer at Mayweather’s Las Vegas strip club Girl Collection, filed the paternity suit in June 2023. She claims she dated Mayweather for roughly eight years. According to Paige, Mayweather ended the relationship after learning about the pregnancy and allegedly pushed her to get an abortion.
Despite repeated attempts to serve him court papers and a direct order to take a DNA test, Mayweather failed to respond. The court eventually issued a default judgment against him, declaring him the legal father without his participation.

Floyd’s Legal and Financial Troubles

This isn’t the first time Floyd Mayweather Jr. has faced public child support issues. The retired boxer, whose net worth is estimated to be between $450 million and $1 billion, has five known children.

Over the years, several ex-partners have publicly accused him of being inconsistent with financial support and involvement in his children’s lives. While critics argue that someone with Mayweather’s wealth should have no issue providing for his children, supporters believe some of the claims have been exaggerated or financially motivated.

In recent months, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has reportedly faced a $7.3 million IRS tax lien, lawsuits over alleged unpaid jewelry purchases, disputes involving private jet services, and claims of unpaid rent at a luxury Manhattan apartment.

Why High-Profile Child Support Battles Always Make Headlines

Celebrity child support cases often attract public attention because they involve fame, wealth, and personal relationships playing out in court. Many of these situations become highly publicized due to complicated relationships, large financial gaps between both parties, and the pressure of co-parenting in the public eye. Mayweather’s case now joins a long list of athletes and entertainers who have faced major child support disputes, continuing wider conversations around accountability, parenting, and wealth.

Floyd Mayweather’s Legacy: Boxing Great vs. Personal Life Controversies

While Mayweather remains one of the greatest boxers of all time with a perfect 50-0 record, his personal life continues to draw significant scrutiny. From past domestic violence allegations to multiple child support cases, the undefeated champion often finds himself in the headlines for reasons beyond the ring.
This latest development adds another layer to the complex public image of one of boxing’s most polarizing figures.

What Happens Next?

Mayweather has not publicly responded to the ruling. Legal experts say he can still challenge the default judgment, though doing so would likely lead to more court proceedings and legal expenses. For Paige Moorehead and her daughter, the ruling marks a major moment after years of legal back-and-forth over paternity and child support.
