GloRilla Launches GloVerse Beauty Booking App in Atlanta Beta

GloRilla launched GloVerse, a marketplace for booking hairstylists, makeup artists and other beauty professionals, in an Atlanta beta on Oct. 3. The Memphis rapper unveiled the platform at Buckhead Art and Company in Atlanta, XXL reported, and a full mobile app is planned for later this year.

The app is built around a profile called a GloID. Customers and beauty professionals each create one, and customers can search for professionals by hair type, face shape and whether the service happens at home, in a studio or at a location the professional travels to.

Why GloRilla built a beauty booking app

GloRilla said the idea came from trying to book glam on the road. “I need a makeup artist in this city,” she said, describing a question she asks in each city she visits, according to XXL. She told the outlet that finding reliable people was stressful at times.

Essence, in an interview carried by TheGrio, quoted her describing the same problem from earlier in her career. “When I first blew up, I was having problems finding glam professionals,” she said. TheGrio reported that she also saw a second problem on the other side of the chair: talented stylists and artists who struggled to get seen.

Hip-Hop Vibe reported that those professionals depend heavily on social media and direct messages to find clients. GloVerse gives them one shareable profile in place of that routine.

How GloIDs and GloPro profiles work

Beauty professionals on the platform are called GloPros. Talking With Tami reported that each GloPro gets a GloID, described as a digital calling card, that can be shared through social media, bios and websites. The platform is also developing an Apple Wallet feature that would let a potential client scan a GloPro’s information from a phone, according to the same report.

The service categories are broad. Hip-Hop Vibe listed hair, makeup, nails, skincare, barbering, braiding, locs, lashes, brows, esthetics, henna, body art, men’s grooming and special effects. The same report said the app includes AI-powered recommendations and personalization based on hair type and face shape.

Customers are already part of the beta. HOT 97 reported that users can create profiles, secure GloIDs and give feedback during development. HOT 97 also reported that the platform uses artificial intelligence to recommend specialists based on location and preferences. GloRilla said she wanted the app to work for everyone. “I wanted everybody to be able to use it,” she said, according to HOT 97. She said she did not want the app limited to one gender or one culture.

Who is running GloVerse

GloRilla is not building it alone. OUT.LI.ER, a consultancy led by founder and chief executive Georgii Speakman, handles brand architecture and growth strategy, ATL 285 reported. TheGrio and Talking With Tami name Speakman as a co-founder. HOT 97 reported that GloRilla worked closely with Speakman throughout development, and ATL 285 reported that she stays involved in platform decisions.

Beta, full launch and what comes next

Accounts of the timeline differ. TheGrio reported that the full launch is set for December 2026 on iOS and Google Play, with Atlanta as the first market and more major cities to follow. Hip- Hop Vibe and HOT 97 reported that the beta begins in October and that the full app is expected late in the year. Talking With Tami reported that the beta runs through December and said a full iOS and Android app is in development without giving a date.

Under the December timelines, the Atlanta beta window is about two to three months. HOT 97 reported that the company is putting its priority on building a network of beauty professionals across the United States, and Hip-Hop Vibe described the beta as taking a provider-first approach. That sequence puts supply first. A booking app has no product until professionals sign up, so the beta asks for profiles from both sides while the full app is still being built.

Reports also differ on whether GloVerse will lead to beauty products. Rap Industry reported that plans for a product line are part of the expansion, and AllHipHop reported that she plans to launch beauty products and described GloVerse as infrastructure for a larger ecosystem. TheGrio reported that she has not committed to launching beauty products but has not ruled out further beauty ventures. Hip-Hop Vibe said the platform’s later plans include creator collaborations, commerce, live experiences, brand partnerships and business tools for independent beauty entrepreneurs.

GloRilla’s earlier business moves

GloVerse is not her first brand partnership in beauty. On Feb. 4, 2025, Essence reported that she was named the first joint partner across Savage X Fenty, Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin and Fenty Hair for the Spring 2025 “Glo Up Close” campaign, which ran on savagex.com and fentybeauty.com. The campaign included three Savage X lingerie drops along with featured Fenty Beauty and Fenty Hair products.

Her path to that point has been short. According to Wikipedia’s career summary, “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” went viral in April 2022 and she signed with Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group that July. Her debut studio album, “Glorious,” came out in 2024. The same page says she partnered with Checkers & Rally’s on a meal deal in August 2025, a full-circle moment because she once worked at a Checkers drive-thru in Memphis.

The arithmetic is simple. From the April 2022 breakout to the Oct. 3, 2026 launch is about four and a half years. The problem she describes, finding glam professionals when she “first blew up,” dates to that first year. Beyond GloVerse, XXL reported, GloRilla is pursuing acting and working on her second album.
